In our day to day life humans grow lazy.
Generally speaking, humans do not like change.
In fact they run and hide from change.
They love for everything to be the same, just the way they like it.
The problem is when they let things remain the same, they hurt ourselves.
Their mind deteriorates without challenges.
That’s why experts tell you to try to learn something new everyday.
If you learn something new everyday, you challenge yourself to change.
When you learn a new skill, the process of learning a new skills revitalizes your brain.
In this article, you will learn three ways to revitalize your brain by learning a new skill.
When you challenge yourself, learn something new, and change your behavior your mind grows stronger and revitalizes.
With so many things to learn, what should an intelligent person learn and how can you learn?
The three ways of learning is:
- Watch someone
- Try it yourself and experiment
- Teach someone else
Basically, the idea here is to watch a skilled person work through something, try it for yourself, and then share that knowledge with a friend, on a blog, or wherever else. It’s a solid, classic formula, but it works well.
With so many things to learn, it helps to know the two (2) kinds of learning.
There are two kinds of learning: beneficial learning, and non beneficial learning.
And the way to learning each of these kinds of learning is the same.
For example, non beneficial learning could be learning the name of the characters of your favorite zombie show.
An example of beneficial learning could be learning new skills that develop your abilities to get more out of life.
It’s like giving yourself raise when you teach yourself a new skill.
Some people, like me, learn new skills only if the new skill makes me money, and I can profit from it.
For example, if you’re a business owner, you can learn how to do marketing.
It behooves business owners to know marketing skills because marketing is an essential ingredient for profitable businesses (don’t worry, this isn’t leading to a pitch).
With so many free resources online, I recommend you use the free resources, but to get back to the point at hand.
If someone does not know how to persuade or influence others, you could take a course that develops your ability to be an influential persuader.
If you don’t have time to conduct research to learn something new, there are always online courses you can pay that will save you a lot of time.
(Click here to see an example of a course you can learn how to build your persuasion skills).
Whatever you decide to do to revitalize your brain, make sure you get the most benefit out of it and it makes you happy.
Don’t settle for mediocrity.
Mediocrity is a silent killer of dreams.
Always stretch for the moon, reach for your goals, and don’t settle for the regular.
If you shoot for the moon, even if you miss the moon, you will still land in the stars.
In other words, set high goals, for even if you miss your high goals, you will still obtain something above average.
